WHEREAS, the boundaries proposed by the Commission correspond to the boundaries <br /> delineated in the 1986 Everett Resource Inventory and in the 1993 Study of the Donovan <br /> District and include the most intact blocks of Donovan homes. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The Everett City Council agrees with the Everett Historical Commission on the <br /> placement of the Donovan District on the Everett Register of Historical Places. <br /> 2. The Everett City Council recognizes the strong support within the Donovan <br /> District to be placed on the Everett Register of Historic Places, with the owners of <br /> 55%of the properties and 78% of the owner occupied properties signing the <br /> petition. <br /> 3. The Everett City Council places the Donovan District, as shown on the attached <br /> map, on the Everett Register of Historic Places. <br /> 4. Any demolition requests will be reviewed pursuant to the Historic Resources <br /> Ordinance 1355-87 (amended 1956-93) section 2.96.060 (Review of changes to <br /> historic register properties) as the ordinance is now written or may be amended. <br /> Councilmember Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this 21st day of October 1998. <br /> ouncil President <br />
