July 24, 2013 <br /> Council President Moore invited public comment. There was no <br /> response. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Murphy, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Moore who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 1307-22 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE expanding the Multiple Family Property Tax <br /> Exemption Area and amending Ordinance No. 2347-98, as <br /> amended (EMC Chapter 3.78) <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council <br /> Bill No. 1307-22 and the City Clerk is directed to take roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> Discussion continued regarding how the tax exemption would work if the <br /> ordinance is adopted and the need for additional clarification. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council <br /> Member Murphy, to table this agenda item until additional <br /> information can be provided. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Moore who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 203 <br />
