If no new building were built, and
he•thewoexistinuld bea
building left in place, left alone, or remodeled,
tre building in the same location as the new building, should I be
allowed this variance. Thus I am deprived of the use of 2200 feet
by improving the property.
There is a real benefit to the other property owners who have not
built new buildings: they can continue to use the property which
the City requires for a set back for new construction. They
possess this right; the variance is needed for me to have this
right preserved.
GRANTING OF THE VARIANCE WILL NOT BE DETRIMENTAL
The existing building sits on she property line, it is not
deterimental to the welfare or injurious to other properties in
the neighborhood. There is no disruption of site lines for autos
going East on A d.
Conversely, granting of the variance will be bene'icial to other,
property owners in the neighborhood. The comprehensive plan does not call for
the use of the unused portion of the City's 80 foot right-of-way;
thus this will still be available to provide in fact set backs on
both Wetmore and 32nd.
Applicant Signature
Date: April 6, 1988
