H. STRUCTURAL STEEL <br />1. All steel, except pip: ASTM <br />S,A-36. B. <br />Pipe: ASTM A-53, type or <br />All bolts ASTM A-307. <br />2. All fabrication, erection and detailing in accordance with <br />the latest edition of the "Manual o£ Steel Construction" of <br />the American Institute of Steel Construction. <br />3. All welding by certified welders in accordance with the <br />"Welding Handbook" by the American Welding Society. <br />4. All welds 3/16" min. continuous fillet welds using AWS A5, <br />E70XX electroded. <br />Weld beam hanger assemblies with continuous 1/4" fillet welds <br />on one side of each component. <br />5. Provide washers and lock washers on bolted connections. <br />6. All steel not embedded in concrete or masonry to receive <br />ats <br />one shop coat of an approved primer paint. Apply <br />two co <br />of heavy asphaltic paint to all steel exposed to earth. <br />7. Furnish complete shop drawings prior to fabrication. <br />I. MISCELLANEOUS <br />1. Contractor to verify all dimensions in the field. <br />2. Verify size and location of all dimensions in the field. <br />3. Provide temporary bracing as required until all permanent <br />connections and stiffings have been installed. <br />4.
