NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT: Section l: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, which are legally described as follows, contain conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the public: Legal Description of the property upon which the above -referenced buildings are located is as follows; The Plat of Everett, Blk 766, Lots 15 & 16, Volume 3, of Plats, page(s) 12, Records of Snohomish County, Washington. Parcel Number: 4391 766 015 00 08 Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. Section 2: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are hereby declared to be substandard as defined in the Uniform Housing Code. Section 3: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are hereby declared to be dangerous as defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. Section 4: That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the buildings demolished and cleared from the premises. Section 5: That all expenses incurred by the City as a result of said demolition work shall be made a personal obligation of the property owners or an assessment against the property, in which case the City of Everett shall ask the Ccunty Treasurer to enter the amount of the assessment upon the tax rolls against the property and collect the same with regular property taxes and with interest at such rate as provided for in RCW 84.56.020.
