September 23, 1998 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners of the property have neither appealed the Notices and Orders issued by the Building Official nor have they secured, demolition permits by August 1, 1998 as they indicated they would do in a letter to the Building Official; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official has the authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners have been given notice of this Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the public that a Resolution be a-jooted requiring the demolition of the buildings; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, which are legally described as follows, contain conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the public: Legal Description of the property upon which the above -referenced buildings are located is as follows: The Plat of Everett, Blk 766, Lots 15 & 16, Volume 3, of Plats, page(s) 12, Records of Snohomish County, Washington.
