September 23, 1998 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners of the property have neither <br />appealed the Notices and Orders issued by the Building Official nor have they <br />secured, demolition permits by August 1, 1998 as they indicated they would do <br />in a letter to the Building Official; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official has the authority <br />to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code and the <br />Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners have been given notice of <br />this Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best <br />interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the public that a Resolution be <br />a-jooted requiring the demolition of the buildings; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF EVERETT: <br />That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, <br />Washington, which are legally described as follows, contain conditions which <br />endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the public: <br />Legal Description of the property upon which the above -referenced <br />buildings are located is as follows: <br />The Plat of Everett, Blk 766, Lots 15 & 16, Volume 3, of Plats, page(s) <br />12, Records of Snohomish County, Washington. <br />Parcel Number: 4391 766 015 00 08 <br />Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington <br />479 <br />
