September 23, 1998 Section 2: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are hereby declared to be substandard as defined in the Uniform Housing Code. Section 3: That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are hereby declared to be dangerous as defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. Section 4: That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the buildings demolished and cleared from the premises. Section : That all expenses incurred by the City as a result of said demolition work shall be made a personal obligation of the property owners or an assessment against the property, in which case the City of Everett shall ask the County Treasurer to e-itcr the amount of the assessment upon the tax rolls against the property and collect the same with regular property taxes and with interest at such rate as provideri for in RCW 84.56.020. Section : That the herein described demolition shall not be commenced until not less than ten (10) days after the notification by personal service or by mailing via registered or certificd mail of notice of the herein described Everett City Council Resolution to the owners of the herein described property.
