September 23, 1998 <br />Section 2: <br />That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, <br />Washington are hereby declared to be substandard as defined in the Uniform <br />Housing Code. <br />Section 3: <br />That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, <br />Washington are hereby declared to be dangerous as defined in the Uniform <br />Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. <br />Section 4: <br />That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the buildings demolished <br />and cleared from the premises. <br />Section : <br />That all expenses incurred by the City as a result of said demolition work shall <br />be made a personal obligation of the property owners or an assessment against <br />the property, in which case the City of Everett shall ask the County Treasurer to <br />e-itcr the amount of the assessment upon the tax rolls against the property and <br />collect the same with regular property taxes and with interest at such rate as <br />provideri for in RCW 84.56.020. <br />Section : <br />That the herein described demolition shall not be commenced until not less than <br />ten (10) days after the notification by personal service or by mailing via <br />registered or certificd mail of notice of the herein described Everett City <br />Council Resolution to the owners of the herein described property. <br />Roll was called with all councilmetnhers voting yes. <br />*,lotion carried. <br />480 <br />
