Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. <br />Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector, shall be <br />performed, along with a certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the <br />system. Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. Fire <br />alarm systems shall he installed under permit of the City of Everett Building <br />Department. Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to calling for <br />acceptance tests. Call (425) 257-8810 for permit information. <br />17. An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided as required by City <br />Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. Plans for <br />any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department and the Everett Fire <br />Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the <br />underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. Aboveground sprinkler <br />piping shal: be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard 13. <br />Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in <br />NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains. All such tests shall be witnessed by a <br />Fire Department inspector. Call (425) 257-8123 to make an appointment for <br />inspection. Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the <br />Everett Fire Department prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. Call <br />(425) 257-8123 for more information. <br />18. Fire safety practices during construction shall be in compliance with Article 87 of <br />the Uniform Fire Code. <br />19. Any rockeries or retaining walls proposed in required setback areas must be in <br />conformance with Section 39.150 of the Zoning Code. <br />20. Minimum building setbacks are 25 feet from the front property line, five feet rear <br />property line and five feet from the side property line. A ten foot side setback is <br />required for the portion of building exceeding, 35 feet in height. Building height <br />shall he a maximum of 45 feet. <br />2i. Landscaping must be provided per Section 35 of the Zoning Code. At a minimum <br />this must include the following: <br />a. A landscape strip a minimum of ten feet wide must he provided along <br />Wetmore Avenue, except for the driveway. "Phis area shall be planted <br />with Type III landscaping. <br />b. A landscape strip a minimum of five feet wide must he provided along <br />the north and south property lines. These areas shall he planted with <br />Type III landscaping. <br />C. A fence a minimum of five feet high to a maximum of six feet high must <br />be placed along the north and south property lines where parking is <br />located up to the property lines. <br />6 <br />
