Mrs. M mson Rearing (Cont'd) <br />After visually viewing the subject property and considering all the facts <br />and testimony, it was moved by Mr. Berg; seconded by Mr. Kristiansen and <br />unanimously carried to deny the variance as it does not meet all the <br />requirements of Section 19.70.060 of the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, <br />2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Raymond King, 2128 Cedar Street, <br />Everett WA 98201 for a variance from Secti-n 19.16.050 Everett Municipal <br />Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph B, for permission to construct a garage <br />within two (2) feet of the South side property line rather than the code <br />roquircment of five (5) feet from the side property line. <br />Legal Description: Iots 19 & 20, Block 447, Minnesota Addition <br />Address: 2128 Cedar <br />Zoning: R-2 Single Family High Density Residence <br />W. King represented himself and had the following things to add: <br />I. His lots are 50 feet in width. <br />2. He has a 23 foot trailer and needs the larger area to get into the <br />garage. <br />3. He would like to demolish the existing garage. <br />It was determined by the Board that the problem lies with the trailer and <br />not the lot area. <br />'lure was 1,0 opposition from the audience. <br />After visual observation of `the subject property atxt be all the testimony <br />it was moved by Mr. Kristiansen; seconded by Mr. Berg and unanimously cied <br />to deny the applicants request as it does not meet all the requirements of arr <br />Section 19.70.060 of the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Dan Bohan, 3418 Wetmore, Everett <br />WA 98201 for a variance from Section 19.44.020 Everett Municipal Code, <br />Home Occupation, for permission to utilize a detached garage as a cabinet shop. <br />Legal Description: Lots 23 & 24, Block 822, Plat of Everett Division "A" <br />Address: 3418 Wetmore Avenue <br />Zoning: R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residence <br />Mr. Bowman represented himself and made the statement that the zoning code <br />definition of 'home occupation' states associated structures can be used <br />for xxw-Occupation use as well as main dwelling units. <br />At this time Chairman Russell read a letter addressed to Mr. Bowman, written <br />by Mr. Robert Royce, Housing Inspector(at the time of the letter). The <br />letter discussed the requirements of a tone occupation use. <br />-3- <br />
