C-fY OF EVERETT - BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />MINUTES <br />May 7, 1979 <br />There was no opposition from the audience. <br />After visua'ly viewing the subject property and considering all the <br />facts, it was moved by Mr. Black, seconded by Mr. Zook and unanimously <br />carried to grant the applicant's request as it meets all the require- <br />ments of Section 19.70.060 of the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs <br />1,2,3 & 4. <br />As a condition to the granting of the variance, the following stipula- <br />tion was made: <br />1. The builder shall provide eight (8) ten foot off street <br />parking stalls, four (4 ) to be in tandem. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Dallas Olson, 4302 Ridgemont <br />Drive, Everett, Washington 98203 for a variance from Section 19.20.050 <br />of the Everett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph A, Front <br />Yard, and Paragraph C Rear Yard for permission to build to within eight <br />(8) feet of the front yard property line rather than the code require- <br />ment of ten (10) feet and sixteen (16) feet from the rear property line <br />rather than the code requirement of twenty (20) feet. <br />Also, permission from Section 19.42.010 of the Everett Municipal Code, <br />Lots,_to_build to within_eight_.(8.)_feet of the side yard property <br />line rather than the code requirement of ten (10) feet from the side <br />property line on a corner lot. <br />Legal Description: Lots 31 and 32, Block 824, Plat of Everett <br />Division"A" <br />Location: 34th & Hoyt (SW Corner of 34th & Hoyt) <br />zoning- R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence <br />Mr. Wilson returned to his position on the Board. <br />Mr. Olson represented himself and made the statement that his primary <br />interest is in the aesthetics and integrity of the building in relation <br />to the neighborhood. The variance he is asking is actually for <br />architectural projections which are above street level. <br />There was no opposition from the audience. <br />-16- <br />
