Mansfield <br />3601 Wetmore Ave <br />Everett. % ashington 98201 <br />Subject: New fence installed in conjunction with Right of Way Use permit <br />Number 79-121. <br />Dear Mr. Mansfield: <br />After a field review of the fire hydrant operation, it has been determined that <br />the 3 foot clearance around the hydrant is not adequate for proper emergency <br />operation. <br />Enclosed, for your consideration, are two possible corrections. The top alternative <br />is the correction most preferrable. Iiowever, the bottorn alternative is an acceptable <br />arrangement. <br />The existing fence arrangement may cause a Oink in the 24 inch ports during emergency <br />use and tends to obscure the hydrant. <br />Your amended permit is enclosed for relocation of the fence at your convenience, <br />within the next 60 days.
