Portions of the existing Union <br /> Slough flood control dike would be breached to allow riverine and tidal influence to County and City owned <br /> land. The City-owned land within the Smith Island Restoration is approximately 50-acres in size. <br /> The Professional Service Agreement with ICF Jones& Stokes,Inc. provided for permitting and design <br /> services associated with the City of Everett 50-acre site. Amendment No. 3 for the professional services <br /> agreement provides for additional design services to prepare joint-bid documents with Snohomish County, <br /> provide construction management support during project construction, and provide post construction <br /> documentation in compliance with project permitting requirements. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with ICF Jones & <br /> Stokes, Inc. for the Smith Island Restoration Project in the amount of$86,328. <br /> 53 <br />
