These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required My other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform Building Code, as atnended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue it will be necessary to provide the Building Divis�on w�th two c��m�lete new sets ot�drawings reflecting the corrections requested. The structure as submitted exceeds the allowable area for glazing by the prescriptive requirert�ents of Chapter 6. of the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). The �lazing should be reprPsented as a percentage of the heated floor area. All windows, doors �vith, more than 50% glazing, and skylights are required to be considered. The additicn has a total of 389 sq. ft. There are 249` sq. ft. of windows and doors and skylights which equates to 64% glazing. You can keep the glass that you have, but you will need to complete a component performance calculation worksheet and you may be required to update insulation or windows in the existing structure. 2. Please incorporate all previous revisions into one plan set and submit two complete sets of plans.
