It <br />does not appear that the roof has had an overlay. It is rot in <br />recommended that prior to overlay the moss be removed, dry <br />the deck be removed and new deck installed, significant surface <br />irregularities be eliminated to the extent practical and that the <br />ends of the roof be flashed. <br />Mr. Roger lJeiss was on site during the entire inspection. Mr, lJeiss <br />accompanied me on all of the inspection except the residence attic. <br />Significant roof and attic findings were discussed as we progressed <br />through the inspection. General questions were answered at the <br />completion of the inspection. <br />The statements and conclusions in this report represent the <br />professional opinion of an axperienced engineer registered to practice <br />in the State of Washington. We have noted those items which we saw and <br />believe are significant. If an item is not mentioned we are not <br />implying that the condition is satisfactory, complies with the building <br />code or is warranted in any way. This inspection does not include <br />checking of construction or other materials which might be hazardous to <br />health; such materials may be present and not noted.
