These comments address building issues only, additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Edition, unless <br />stated otherwise. <br />1. Plans do not show lateral reshaint at garage end walls. Provide minimum <br />lateral restraint panel detail, and cross reference to plan view. <br />2. There shall be a floor or landiag on each side of a door. A door may open at <br />a landing that is not more than 8 inches lower than the floor level, �rovided <br />the door dces not swing over the landing. Provide landing at slidmg glass <br />door. <br />3. Plans show 2X4 studs (�?16"O.C. with R-19 insulation, R-19 insuladon will <br />not fit into a 3 1/2" Framing cavity without being compressed. <br />4. Insulafion baffles shall ext. •,l 6" vertically above batts and 12" vedically <br />above loosefill insulation. <br />5.
