The whole house system must be capable of providing at least 0.35 air changes per hour but not less than 15 cubic fcet per minute. Indicate the minimum cfm of the system on the plans. 32. Outdoor air is required to be supplied to all habitable rooms for all whole house ventilation syctems. Specify the type of outdoor air system including individual outdoor air inlets, forced-air heating system, ducting or equivalent means. 33. Note on the plans that corridor air inlets shall not be placed in the following locations: a. Closer than 10' from an appliance vent outlet, unless such vent outlet is 3' above the outdoor air inlet. b. Where it a•ill pick up objectionable odors, fumes or flammable vapors. c. A ha-rardous or unsanitary location. d. A room or space having any fuel-buming appliances. 34. Note on the drawings that all structuraf panel components of the house such as softwood, plywood, particle board, wafer board and oriented stand boazd shall be identified as "EXPOSURE 1", "EXTERIOR" or "HUD-APPROVED". 400.1 35. Specify on the plans that all solid fuel burning appliances shall be provided with the following: a. Tight fitting glass or metal doors. b. An outside source of combustion air directly connected to the firebox, or tested and listed per HUD carbon monoxide performance requirements. 36. Note on the plans that the builder shall provide a three month etched tract radon monitor, installalion instructions and radon information sheets at the final inspection. Prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set.
