Note on the plans that showers shall be equipped with flow control devices to limit <br /> the total water flow to 2.5 gpm. 504.8 <br /> 28. Note on the plans that water heaters shall meet the reyuirements of the 1987 <br /> NAECA and shall be so labeled. Electric water heaters in unconditioned spaces <br /> shall be placed on an imcompressible, insulated surface with a minimum thermal <br /> resistance of R-10. <br /> 29. Source specific fans ue required in each kitchen, bathroom, water closet, laundry <br /> facility, indoor swimming pool, spa, and other rooms where excess water vapor or <br /> cooking odor is produced. Specify the fan locations and sizes at minimim of 50 <br /> cfm at 0.25" water gauge for bathrooms and laundries and 100 cfm at 0.25" for <br /> kitchens. <br />
