Permit 79-398, 3901 Smith <br />CITY OF EVERETT, EVERETT WASHINGTON <br />Regarding the letter you received from Harry Scharnikow questioning fire hydrant <br />installation per the permit dated November 26, 779. <br />Their request to incorporate their neighbors into a Latecomer's Agreement is <br />inappropriate as the Ordinance 711-80, Section 1, states a $3,000 minimum cost to be <br />eligible. <br />The City estimate for this installation dated January 30, 1980, is $2,044.74, with a <br />likely increase of 12% to make it current, still leaves it less than the required estimate. <br />Copy of estimate attached. <br />RAG:is <br />Attachment <br />
