Since the buildina is uninhabitable in :ts oresent <br />conditior., -t ahall remain vacant until such time as the <br />building ia repaired in accordance •.rith the current <br />Building Code or demolished. <br />IV. If the owner elects to repair the building according to <br />the current Building Code, all required permits must be <br />secured, thereiore, and the work physically commenced <br />�ithin sixty (60) days of the date oi this Order. All <br />work must be completed in compliance with the Euildina <br />Code within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br />'+'. If the owner elects to demolish the building, all <br />required permits mu.st be secured, theretore, within <br />sixty (60) days of the d:�te� of this Order. Such <br />demolition must be completec :+ithin ninety i90) days of <br />the date of thi� Order. <br />VI. If the c=quired repair or demol:tion is not commenced <br />within the time set forth in Paragraphs IV and V, the <br />City of Everett will order the building to remain <br />vacated and proceed to cauae the buildina to be <br />demolished. All expensea incurred as a reault of the <br />demolition of the building shall be made a personal <br />obliqation of the property owners or said charqe shall <br />be asaeased against the property, in which case the City <br />of Everett shall ask the City Treasurer to enter the <br />amount of the asaessment upon the tax rolls against tha <br />property and collect the same with regular property <br />taxes, with interest at such rate as provided for in RCW <br />84.56.020. <br />VII. Any peraon havinq any record title or legal intereat in <br />the building may appeal from this Notice and Order to <br />the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board. Such appeal <br />muat be in writing as is required in tha Uniform Houaing <br />Code and filed with the City of Everett Planning <br />Director within thirty (30l days from the date of <br />service of this Notice and Order.
