"Berm Conswction " shall include all labor, material, and equipment for excavating, <br />loading, hauling, placing, and compacting material excavated from site. Price includes pay <br />for hauling and disposing of ezcess material and material damed unsuitabk for be�m <br />conswction. Material shall be placed at waste site noted on Drawings. Price includes <br />preparing site and subgrade, dewatering, conditioning 5ll to optimum moisture content for <br />compaction, and protxting fill material from excess moisttue. Measurement shall be per <br />cubic yazd. <br />B. "Subgrade Stabilization Matetiel" and "Import Berrt► Fill" shall include all labor, hauling, <br />material, compaction, and eyuipment for subgrade stabilization and import berm fill <br />material to conswct becm Measurement shall be per ton. <br />C. <br />1.3 <br />"Compaction Test" shall include field and laboratory testing of material and providing test <br />results to the PORT. Measurement shall be per each. <br />MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES <br />A. Cubic yard measurement for "Berm Conswction." The on-site excavated material shall <br />be measured from its original position by cross sections or through the use of digital <br />terrain modeling surveying techniques. Pay quantities shall be computed ro the neat lines <br />of the cross-sections staked. <br />B. Ton for "Subgrade Stabilization Material" and "Impa�t Benn Fill" shall be from a <br />CONTRACTOR provided offsite source. "Subgrade Stabilization Material" and "Import <br />Berm Fill" shall only be used with Port's approvaL <br />02200-1 <br />
