CONfRACfOR shall excavate site to elevations shown on Drawings and construct berm <br />as shown on Drawings. All material shall be placed and compacted in accordance with <br />Section 2-03 of the WSDOT Standard Specification and as noted on the Drawings. The <br />initial fill placement will consist of placement of the subgrade stabilization material, as <br />directed by the PORT. <br />C. Areas exhibiting significant deflection, pumping, or weaving that cannot be compacted <br />shall be ovecexcavated to firm soil and backfilled with subgrade sterilization material as <br />d'vected by the PORT. <br />D. if there is insufficient suitable material from the excavation area to conswct the berm as <br />shown, "Import Berm Fill" shall be provided and installed by the CONTRACTOR from a <br />CONTRACTOR provided sourca Impon benn fill material shall be utilized at the <br />direction of the PORT. <br />02200-2 <br />
