Oral and other interpretations or clari6cations will be without legal effect. 4.2 Addenda may also be issued to rtadify the Bidding Documents as damed advisable by the OWNER or ENGINEER. 4.3 Each Bidder shall acknowledge within his Bid that he has obtained all addenda issued. ARTlCLE 5 - d/D SECURITY 5.1 Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the OWI�IER in an amount of five percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the fortn of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety rtxeting the requ'vements of PazaE;raph 5.1 of the General Conditions. 5.2 The Bid security of the successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Agreement and furnished the required Contract security, whereupon the Bid security will be returned. If the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and fumish the requ'ved Contract security within fiftan days after the Notice of Award, the OWNER may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid sccurity of that Bidder will be forfeited. The Bid security of other Bidders whom the OWNER believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by the OWNER until the eazlier of the scventh day after the E�'a;tive Date of the Agrament or the forty-sixth day after the Bid opcning, whereupon Bid security furnished by such Bidders will be returned. Bid security with Bids which aze not competitive will be returned within seven days after the Bid opening. ART/CLE 6 - SUBCONTRACTORS 6.1 List subcontractors on the form provided. Follow inswctions listed on the form Bidders shall complete the "Subcontractor Work Listing" on the form provided. Bidders shall submit a statement of proposed electrical and mechanical subcontractors within one hour of the bid opening. A list of proposed subcontractors, other than electrical and mechanical, shall be completed and provided within 24 hours of a request by OWNER. Failure to comply may render the bidder's bid non-responsive. ARTICLE 7 - B/D FORM 7.1 The Bid Form is included with the Bidding Documents; additional copies may be obtained from the OWNER. � 7•2 All blanks on the Bid Form must be completed in ink or typed. 00100-3
