PORT OF EVERETT SECT[ON 00700 <br />UMON SLOUGH MARSH MITTGATION GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />Modification -(a) A written amendment of the Contract Documents signed by both parties, (b) a <br />Change Order, or (c) a Field Ordet. A rt►odification may only be issued aker the effective date of the <br />Agrament. <br />[�otice of Award - The written notice by PORT to the apparent successful Bidder stating that upon <br />compGance by the appazent successful Bidder with the <br />conditions precedent enumerated therein, within thc time speci6ed, PORT will <br />sign and deliver the Agrament. <br />Notice to Proceed - A written notice given by PORT to CONCR.4CTOR (with a copy <br />to ENGINEER) fixing the date un which the Contract Time will cortvnence to run and on which <br />CONTRACI'OR shall start to perform his obligation under t!►e Contract Documents. <br />PORT - The public body or authority, corporation, associati�n, partnership, or individual with whom <br />CONTRACTOR has entered into the Agartxnt and, for whom <br />the Work is to be provided. <br />PORT Furnished Materials or �yuioment - Materialc or equipment furr:ished by the PORT which aze <br />to be incorporated into the Work by the CONTRACI'OR. <br />Pavment Bond - The form of security approved by the PORT, fumished by the CONTRACI'OR and <br />his surery guazantaing the complete and faithful payment of all labor, material, equipment, and any <br />other services provided to the Work. <br />Perfomiance Bond - The form of security approved by the PORT, fumished by the CONTRACI'OR -• <br />and his surety guazanteeing the complote and faithful perfom�ance of tf�e consnvction of the Work as 1 <br />specified in the Conuact Documents. <br />Proiect - The total construction of which the Work to be provided under the Convact Documents � <br />may be the whule, or a part as indicated dsewhen in the Contract Documents. <br />Resident Pro'�ect Rep rexntative - The authoriud representative of ENGINEER who is assigned to 1 <br />the site or any part thereof. <br />Shop Drawin¢s - All drawings, diagrams, illusvations, schedules and other data which aze specifically ■ <br />prepazed by CONTRACTOR, a Subcontractor, manufacturer, fabricator, supplier or distributor to <br />illustrate some portion of the Work and all illusvations, brochurrs, standard schedules, perfomiance ` <br />charts, inswctions, diagrams and other infortnation prepazed by a manufacturer, fabricator, suppGer �� <br />or distributor and submitted by CONTRACTOR to illus�rate material or equipment for some portion � <br />of the Work. <br />� <br />' <br />
