PORT OF EVERETT SECTION 00700 <br />UMON SLOUGH MARSH MITIGATION GENERAL CONIDITIONS <br />Suecifications - Those portions of the Convact Documents consisting of written txhnical <br />descriptions of materiaLs, equipment, conswction systenu, standards and workmanship as applied to <br />the Work and cenain administrative details applicabk thaeto. <br />Subcontractor - M individual, finn, or corporation having a d'vect conuact with CONTRACTOR or <br />with any other Subcontractor for the perfom�ance of a part of the Worlc at the site. <br />� Substantial �c�pktion - The Worr (or a speci6ed part thereo� hes progressed <br />to the point whei:, in the opinion of ENGINEER as evidenced by his definitive cenificate of <br />Substantial Compktion, it is sufficiently compkte, in accordance with the Contract Documents, so <br />` that the Work (or speci6ed part) can be utilized tor the purposes for which it was intended; or if there <br />� be no such certificate issued, when 5nai payment is due in accordence with paragraph 14.13. The <br />terms "substantially compkte" and "substantially compkted" as applied to any Work refer to <br />j Substantial Completion thereof. <br />5uretv - The company or Association which is bound with and for the CONTRACI'OR <br />for the acceptable perfom�ance of the Convact, and for his payment of all obligations arising out of <br />the Cc�tract. Where applying to the Bid Bond, it refers to tho CorrQany or Association which <br />engages to be responsible for the bidder's execution of a satisfactory contract when and if his bid is <br />accepted by the PORT. <br />Under¢round Facilities - All existing or fumished sewe., drainage or water supply systems, and <br />electrical telephone or gas systertu, and any other buried pipes, h�res, or tunnels. <br />Work - The ent've completed construction or the various separately .�denti6abk parts thereof required <br />to be furnished under the Contract Documents.
