The acceptance of a bid proposal will be a notice in writing signed by a duly authorized repreaqtt�tive of the PORT and no other act of the PORT or its representatives will constitute an accxptancx of a bid. The accoptance of a bid shall bind the successful bidder ro execute the Agreement and be responsibk for liquidated damages as provided in the Suppkmental C'onditions. � - � t � : •.��yu. ' L!_.--- (1) By CONTRACI'OR: The bidder whose proposel is accepted shall execute the Agrament and fumish the required bonding within fifteen (15) cekndar days afta presentation of the Agreement for signature. The Agreement shall be damed to be exxuted, by the sucassfiil bidder, when at kast five (5) copies of the Agreement, signed by an authorized offxxr of the corpontion or corrq�any, and the bond and insurance required therein, are received by the PORT. Failure or negkct to execute the Agrament within the time speci5ed rt�ay constitute a breach of the Agrxment ed'ected by the acceptance of the proposaL The damages to the PORT for such a breach shall include loss firom interferonce with the general public works program of the PORT, and otha itertu whose accurate amount would be difficult or impossibk to cort�ute. The artaunt of the bid guarantee of the successful bidder who faiis or negleccs to execute the Agrcement aftu proper noti6cation of the acceptance of the bid, shall be retained by the PORT as liquidated damages f�r such breach.
