Shop Draw�s and 3arr�les: 6.23 Aker checking and verifying all field nuasurements, CONTRACTOR �hall submit to ENi,�NEER for review and approval, in accordance with the accepted schoduk of Shop Drawing submissions (see pazagraph 2.9), five copies (unkss otherwiso speci5ed in the General Requirements) of all Shop Drawings, which shall have been checked by and start�ped with the approval of CONTRACTOR and identi5ed as ENGINEER may requ've. The data shown on the Shop Drawings will be compkte with respect to dimensions, design criteria, materials of construction and lilce information to enable ENGINEER to review the information as requ¢ed. 6.24 CON7'RACTOR shall, with such promptness as to cause no �.:lay in Work, submit to ENGINEER for review and approval all samples requircd by the Contract Docurt►ents. All sart�ples will have been checked by and stamped with the approval of CONPRACTOR, identi6ed cleazly as to material, manufacturer, any peninent catalog numbers and the use for which intended. 6.25 At the time of each submission, CONTRACTOR shall in writing call ENGINEER's attention to any deviations that the Shop Drawings or samples may have from the requ'vements of the Conaact Documents. 6.26 ENGINEER wID review with reasonable pro�tness Shop Drawings and sart�ples but ENGINEER's review and approval shall be only for conformance with the design concept of the Project and for complianc;c with the information given in the Contract Documents and shall not extend t� means, methods, sequences, techniques or procedures of construction or to safety precautions or programs incident thereto. The review aud approvr,l of a separate item as such will not indicate approval of the assembly in which the item funetions. CONTRACCOR shall malce any corrections required by ENGINEER and shall return the roquired number of corncted copies of Shop Drawings and resubmit new sartq�les for review and approval. CONTRACfOR shall d'vect specific attention in writing to revisions other than the co�rections called for by ENGIWEER on provious submittals. CONTRACfOR's start�p of approval on any Shop Drawing or sart�pk shall constitute a representation to PORT and ENGINEER that CUNfRACfOR has either determined and verified all quantities, dimensions, 5eld construction criteria. materials, catalog numbers, and si ��ilar data or assumes full responsibility for doing so, and that CONTRACTOR has reviewed or coordinated each 3hop Drawing or sample with the requirements of the Work and the Contract Documents. 6.27 Where a Shop Drawing or sample is requircd by the Specifications, no related Work shall be comnxnced until the submittal has been reviewed and approved by ENGINEER. 6.28 ENGINEER's review and approval of Shop Drawings or samples shall not relieve CONTRACTOR from responsibility for any deviations from the Contract Documents unless CONTRACTOR has in writing called ENGINEER's attention to such deviation at the time of submission and ENGiNE�R has given written concurrence and approval to the speci5c deviation, nor shall any concurrence or approval by ENGINEER relieve CQNTRACTOR from r-sponsibility for errors or omissions in the Shop Drawings.
