PORT OF EVERETT <br />UNION SLOUGH MARSH MITiGATION <br />SECI'ION 00700 <br />GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />therewith. All cash discounts shall accrue to CONCRACTOR unkss PORT deposits funds with <br />CONTRAC'fOR with which to make payments, in which case the cash discounts shall accrue to <br />PORT. All vade discountc, n���s and refunds, and all returns from sale of swplus materiaLs and <br />equipment shall accrue to PORT and CONTRACTOR shall mal�e provisions so that they may be <br />obtained. <br />11.4.3 Payments made by CON7'RACTOR to the Subcontractor, for Worlc perfomxd by <br />Subcontractors. If requirod by PORT, CON7'RACTOR shall ouan comperidve bids from <br />Subcontractors acceptable to CONIRACCOR and shall deGver such bids to PORT who will then <br />determine, with the advice of ENGINF.ER, which bids wil! be accepted, [f a subcontract provides <br />that the Subcontractor is to be paid on the basis of Cost of the Work Plus a Fa, the Sutx;ontractor's <br />Cost of the Work shall be determined in the same manner as COIV7'RACI'OR's Cost of the Work. Al! <br />subcontracts shall be subject to the other provisions of the Contract Documents insofar as applicable. <br />11.4.4 Costs of special consultants (inclu,;ing, but not limited to, engineers, architects, testing <br />laboratories, surveyors, lawyers and accountants) employed for services speci6cally related to the <br />Work. <br />I 1.4.5 Supplemental costs including the following: <br />11.4.5. l 1'he proportion of necessary transportation, travel and subsistence expenscs of <br />CONTRACTOR's employees incwred in discharge of duties connected with the Work. <br />11.4.5.2 Cost, incli ding transportatin,� and maintenance, of all materiais, supplies, equipment, <br />machinery, appliances, office and temporary facilities at the site and hand tools not owned by the <br />workmen, which aze consumed in the perfom�ance of the Work, and cost less market value of such <br />items used but r�ot consumed which rer►�ain the property of CONTRACTOR. <br />I 1.4.5.3 Rentals of al! construction equipment and machinery and the pares thereof whether ronted <br />�om CON7'RACI'OR or others in accordance with rental agreements approved by PORT with the <br />advice of ENGINEER, and the costs of transportation, loeding, unloading, installation, dismantling <br />and removal thereof -- all in accerdance with temu of said rental agraments. The rental of any such <br />equipment, machinery or pans shall cease when the use thereof is no longer nxessary for the Work. <br />I 1.4.5.4 Sales, use or similar taxes related to the Work, and for which CON7'RACTOR is liable, <br />imposed by any govemmental authority. <br />11.4.5.5 Deposits lost for causes other than CONTRACTOR's negligence, royalty paymonts and fees <br />for permits and licenses. <br />11.4.5.6 Losses and damages (and related expenses), not compensated by insurance or otherwise, to <br />the Work or otherwise sustained by CONTRACTOR in conna:tion with the execution of the Work, <br />
