These comments <br />address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br />(such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Ccde, as <br />amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless <br />stated otherwise. <br />In erder for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necaaary to provide fhe <br />$uilding Division with hvo complete new set� of drewings retlecHng the corrections reque�ted. <br />1. All habitable rooms require light and ventilation per Sections 1203.2 8c 1203.3, respectively. <br />Provide aatural light by means of exterior glazed openings with an area not less than 1/10'" of <br />the floor azea with a minimum of 10 square f�et. Provide natwal ventilation by means of <br />exterior openings with an area not less than 1/20 of the floor area with a minimum of 5 square <br />feet. Master bedroom window does not comply. <br />2. All walls are required to have braced wull panels at each end of each braced wall line and not <br />more than 25' on center. All braced wall panels should be clearly indicated on the panels. <br />Construction of braced wall panels �;hall be by one of the methods listed in Section 2320.11.3 <br />UBC, 1997 Edition. <br />3. Show post(s) and/or multiple studs at point loads on plan view (floor plan). <br />4. The tloot plan does not clearly show which walls aze new and which walls are existing. Use <br />different symbols to show; new construction, existing walls and walls to be removed. <br />5• Provide foundation plan, framing plan and cross-section of new deck offof dining room. <br />6. Foundation plan does not show the on center spacing of intermediate supports, or a minimum <br />l8" x 24" crawl space access. <br />7. Plans do not specify what type of doors are used at exterior opening in the dining room. <br />8.
