EMC 39.070.A.1 grants the Planning Direcror the ability to pemut a fence ro ezceed the ma�cimum <br />allowable height of 42 inches, if approved using Review Procus II and Mr. Heard was granted the fence height <br />modification (Review Process fI A'00•0l4), with the following condition: <br />A vision triangle must be created on site in order to procide a safe sight distance for pedestrian and <br />vehicle operarors. In order to accomplish this, a pottion of the ezisting fence must be rclocated, '[his <br />vision triangle must be crcated by removing a IS-foot section of fence along both the driveway and the <br />street frontage. 71�e fence can then be connected togelher by installing a fence ar. the diagonal that would <br />connect the two points at which the frnce was removed. <br />The Heard's have appealed th� City's decision to require the creation of Ihe above deurilxd vision triangle. <br />Public Comment Period: Written comments on the application are solicited and must be received at Ciry of <br />Everett Plannin; and Community Development Departrnent, 2930 Wevnore Avenue, Suite 8A, Everen, WA <br />98201-4044 by November 2, 2000.
