Electrical Move the electrical meter to an outside <br /> wall of the house at the northeast corner and install a <br /> new service down to the meter and over to the existing <br /> breaker panel. Add a 100 amp main to the panel. Remove <br /> the two sub panels and add J boxes as necessary to <br /> complete. Remove the remaining electrical piping in <br /> this acea to 'clean up. Patch remaining holes. Replace <br /> all push button light switches on the main floor wiih <br /> toggle switches. <br /> The following work is to be performed to clean up <br /> basement wiring. Replace the following lights with <br /> "pancake" boxes and hookup poccelain pull chain light <br /> fixtures: light over work bench on basement north side, <br /> light over laundry tray, light over work bench in <br /> southwest corner of basement, light on west side of <br /> furnace, and light on wood post ea�t side of the brick <br /> chimney (this fixture to be keyless) . Make propet <br /> conversion from knob and tube wiring to romex where new <br /> romex leads to stairway wall switch at top of stairs. <br /> '` ' Remove all dead wiring in ceiling area of the back <br /> door. Tack up loose wiring around bottom of basement <br /> stairway. Insulate where romex wiring runs across the <br /> furnace heat ducts in basement. <br /> Wire in a new gcounded duplex receptacle in the basement <br /> near the rear door in a convcnient location for owner to <br /> plug in weed eater. <br /> All new electrical work shall be performed in compliance <br /> with the requirements of the National Electrical Code, <br /> 1981 edition. <br /> - $ �n�°° <br /> ---o- <br /> 6. Windows Remove the following windows and install raw <br /> insulated glass units stopping in with wood pieces and <br /> caulking: living room both south wall windows (2) , organ <br /> room west and north wall windows (4 total) , master <br /> bedroom north wall (1 unit only) , guest bedroom north <br /> wall (2) , kitchen north wall (7,' unit only, west window) , <br /> and dining room bay (2 units in south wall of bay only, <br /> 1 on each side of center window) . <br /> Remove the remaining house windows in all of the same <br /> rooms as described in the previous paragraph and install <br /> white aluminum insulated single hung replacement units <br /> in the same openings, stopping with wood and sealed with <br /> caulking. Replace the bathroom window with a top awning <br /> white aluminum• insulat�d replacement unit (obscure <br /> glass) . <br /> All new wood used to complete window installment shall <br /> be painted out to match surrounding suxfaces. All new <br /> work in this item shall be performed in compliance with <br /> the requirements cf the Unifocm Building Code, 1982 <br /> edition. <br /> $ � q /)2.- <br />
