The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and reasonable means <br />of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during construction activities can be <br />controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels <br />before they leave the site, and installing and maintaining gravel construction entrances. <br />Construction vehicle track -cut is also a major dust source. Any evidence of track -out can trigger <br />violations and fines from tho Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. <br />46. The expansion of the Institutional Overlay shall be approved by City Council prior to commencement <br />of work on site.
