The PIV in the landscape area can be deleted. However, because
the valve room is accessible through a foyer, the Fire Department will require a wall -
mounted indicating valve be installed. This solves my problem of keeping the fire service
run from the looped main to the DCDA under 70-feet by allowing a straicht run into the
building and also addresses the Fire Department's concerns regarding a:cess to the valve.
The wall mounted indicating valve should be installed downstream of the DCDA.
Please contact me if questions arise.
Thanks,
Paul McKee
City of Everett
425-257-8867
-----Original Message -----
From: Steve Godes [mailto:sgodes@mka.com]
Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 2:04 PM
To: Paul McKee
Subject: FW: EvCC ASB
Paul,
I'm getting confused now.
