L; • • Lighting System Electrical Design • Mechanical System Electrical Design • Miscellaneous Electrical Engineering Services Firms found qualified in each discipline, based on the information found in the Statement of Qualifications, will be placed on a two-year list. There will not be further listing or interviewing as part of this selection process or in the selection of firms for work. The lists will be placed on file for use by all City departments on as "as needed" basis. Firms contacted for future projects will be selected from the appropriate list based on the scope of work and the firm's qualifications. The scope of work will be limited to projects with a maximum consulting fee of$200,000. The Statement of Qualifications is expected to be in the form generally used by the firm, and should identify the following: • Firm's recent relevant experience • Firm's specialty(ies) • Personnel available, their qualifications and experience • References from previous clients Two (2) copies of the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ's), for each discipline, are requested. These SOQ's, including cover letter, shall be limited to nine (9) single sided 8'/2" x 11" sheets. Five (5) additional sheets will be allowed for letters of recommendation from previous clients. No additional sheets, other information, or pamphlets from the Consultant will be considered. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ's) must be received by Gordon Larson, RE: Engineer/Architect Lists, 3200 Cedar Street, Everett, WA 98201, no later than May 24, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. Late receipts will be automatically disqualified from further consideration. The City of Everett assumes no obligations of any kind for any expense incurred by any respondent to this solicitation. The City of Everett hereby gives public notice that it is the City's policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any Federal Aid Highway program or other activity for which the City receives Federal financial assistance.
