3 <br /> EXHIBIT B <br /> Scope of Work <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Perteet, Inc. will provide a broad spectrum of general engineering and management <br /> consulting ("GEC") services and technical expertise in all phases of the delivery of the <br /> following improvement projects related to the Development of the City's Riverfront <br /> Property("City Projects"): <br /> GEC Management <br /> Roundabout <br /> 41s`Street Extension <br /> Main Road Extension—Pre-Design <br /> Site Topographic Survey and Basemapping <br /> Landfill Preload and Grading <br /> Preload Survey Monitoring <br /> The work will be completed on the basis of individual task orders that will be negotiated between <br /> the parties. These task orders will identify the specific scopes of work and costs for each task. <br /> Once signed by both parties,the task orders will become a part of this Professional Services <br /> Agreement and all the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall apply to the task orders. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The Work would include: <br /> 1)Management at the project level or program level, inclusive of all potential design and <br /> construction phases, technical and management staff support, oversight and preliminary <br /> design for project, survey, project coordination, environmental vision, permitting <br /> management of subcontractors, and subconsultants and coordination with City staff; and <br /> 2) Program or project coordination involving communication and management of <br /> contacts with many different groups, including, but not limited to, the City, County or <br /> other governmental entities, utility companies, neighborhood groups, businesses, <br /> watershed committees, permit streamlining committees, FHWA, local/state/federal <br /> permitting agencies, and local projects/programs, preliminary design consultants, on-call <br /> consultants, contractors, design-build contractors, and private developers; and <br /> 3) Providing technical expertise that will assist the negotiation of memoranda of <br /> understanding and memoranda of agreements with utility, railroad, transit, local, and state <br /> agencies; and <br /> 4) Contract with qualified subcontractors and subconsultants, including, but not limited <br /> to, HDR, HWA Geosciences and HBB to accomplish the following aspects of City <br /> Projects: <br /> 15 <br /> 19 <br />
