Provide the contractor necessary survey control to adequately stake the project as outlined in the specifications. 5.2. Provide spot checks of the Contractor's survey upon request by the Engineer 5.3. Reference Existing Monumentation and provide professional survey services for the removal and reestablishment of land survey control monuments in accordance with Washington Administrative Code's and the Department of Natural Resources. 5.4. Re-establish monumentation and set new monuments 6. PROJECT DESIGN ENGINEER ON AN "ON-CALL BASIS" TO ASSIST IN THE REVIEW OF FIELD MODIFICATIONS AND DESIGN CHANGES. Provide technical assistance during construction on an as-requested task order basis. The Consultant will endeavor to protect the City of Everett against defects and deficiencies in the work of the Contractor, but he cannot guarantee the Contractor's performance and he shall not be responsible for construction means, methods, techniques, sequences,procedures for safety precautions and programs in connection with the work. TIME FOR COMPLETION All Phase IV work under this contract shall be completed by July 31, 2009. The scope of this contract is based upon the contractor completing all construction activity by May 1, 2009 and is based upon a 5 day 45-hour work week by the full time resident representative. In support of this schedule our contract provides 3 weeks of project set up time, 95 weeks of a full time resident representative and support staff in addition to 4 weeks of project closure time (Record Drawings, Re-establishment of Monument, etc.). If the work schedule changes due to the contractor working weekends, extended hours, or if the construction activity extends the contract time,the Consultant shall inform the City immediately to allow an opportunity for the City to authorize expenditure from the Management Reserve Fund to provide additional services. The additional services will be billed at the hourly rates established in the base agreement.
