In <br /> 15, 2007. Perteet will prepare work orders describing the specific scope of geotechnical <br /> services and the associated fee for approval and signature by the City's Project Manager. <br /> Payment for geotechnical services will be paid as provided within the management reserve <br /> fund. <br /> 5. CONSTRUCTION SURVEY <br /> 5.1. Provide the contractor necessary survey control to adequately stake the project as outlined in <br /> the specifications. <br /> 5.2. Provide spot checks of the Contractor's survey upon request by the Engineer <br /> 5.3. Reference Existing Monumentation and provide professional survey services for the <br /> removal and reestablishment of land survey control monuments in accordance with <br /> Washington Administrative Code's and the Department of Natural Resources. <br /> 5.4. Re-establish monumentation and set new monuments <br /> 6. PROJECT DESIGN ENGINEER ON AN "ON-CALL BASIS" TO ASSIST IN THE <br /> REVIEW OF FIELD MODIFICATIONS AND DESIGN CHANGES. <br /> Provide technical assistance during construction on an as-requested task order basis. Perteet will <br /> prepare work orders describing the specific scope for each task order and the associated fee for <br /> approval and signature by the City's Project Manager. Payment for task order services will be <br /> paid as provided within the management reserve fund. <br /> The Consultant will endeavor to protect the City of Everett against defects and deficiencies in the <br /> work of the Contractor, but he cannot guarantee the Contractor's performance and he shall not be <br /> responsible for construction means, methods, techniques, sequences,procedures for safety <br /> precautions and programs in connection with the work. <br /> TIME FOR COMPLETION <br /> All Phase IV work under this contract shall be completed by July 31, 2009. <br /> The scope of this contract is based upon the contractor completing all construction activity by May <br /> 1, 2009 and is based upon a 5 day 45-hour work week by the full time resident representative. In <br /> support of this schedule our contract provides 3 weeks of project set up time, 95 weeks of a full time <br /> resident representative and support staff in addition to 4 weeks of project closure time (Record <br /> Drawings, Re-establishment of Monument, etc.). If the work schedule changes due to the contractor <br /> working weekends, extended hours, or if the construction activity extends the contract time,the <br /> Consultant shall inform the City immediately to allow an opportunity for the City to authorize <br /> expenditure from the Management Reserve Fund to provide additional services.
