1 ) <br /> 3.2.a. Verify in the daily report that the Contractor is working with the proper traffic control <br /> plans. <br /> 3.2.b. Document work being done on a force account basis. <br /> 3.2.c. Verify that RAMS form is in place prior to material being used on site. <br /> 3.3. Coordinate Testing and Inspection. Coordinate report and log the results for field sampling, <br /> field testing, and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates and concrete to determine <br /> compliance of those materials with construction contract requirements. In those instances <br /> where unsatisfactory test results are obtained, follow through with notification of the <br /> construction contractor and retesting of the materials after corrections are made. <br /> 3.4. Prepare field note records and documents to assure the project is administered in accordance <br /> with Federal, State and/or other funding agency requirements, including requirements of the <br /> Washington State Department of Ecology. <br /> 3.5. Progress Payment Verification. Review Construction Contractors' monthly payment <br /> requests. Collect and tabulate all quantity delivery tickets. Verify construction Contractor's <br /> estimates of completion levels. Maintain record of all quantity calculations and substantive <br /> certifications and provide copies of such record to the design engineer and City. <br /> 3.5.a. Ensure that Manufactures Certifications and Certifications of Materials origins are <br /> received prior to payment. <br /> 3.5.b. Verify acceptance sampling and testing frequencies reflect the actual quantities used. <br /> 3.5.c. Track and tabulate ticket items. As necessary collect and tabulate scaleman's daily <br /> report and scale certification. <br /> 3.5.d. Track and record concrete suppliers certificate of compliance with cement <br /> certification number. <br /> 3.6. Photographs. Take construction photographs/video tapes and progress photographs of <br /> construction activities on a weekly basis to document progress of the work and job site <br /> conditions encountered. It is assumed that camera equipment and film will be furnished by <br /> the City. <br /> 3.7. Final Review and Inspection. Perform a final review and inspection of the construction <br /> work and prepare a final list of items to be corrected(i.e., "Punch list"). After substantial <br /> completion of the project,verify completion of the punch list. <br /> 3.8. Record drawings. Review the Construction Contractor's Record Drawings on a bi-weekly <br /> basis to verify posted changes. <br /> 3.9. Complete initial employee interview checks. <br /> Summary of Field Observation: <br /> 1. Provide the services of a full-time resident project construction observer who will observe the <br /> technical conduct of the construction. <br /> 2. Attend weekly project site meetings with the Contractor, City staff, utilities, and others <br /> associated with the project construction. <br /> 4. EARTHWORK OBSERVATION AND MATERIAL TESTING—Hong West & Associates <br /> (subconsultant) <br /> 4.1. Provide on-call earthwork construction observation.
