The Engineer will review and provide comments on the summary reports. It is anticipated that <br /> the reports will summarize activities and issues, and will include a summary of: meeting <br /> minutes, completed and planned activities, schedule and budget status, potential delays and <br /> claims, and other project issues. <br /> TASK 8 — Start-Up Services <br /> 8.1 Equipment Start-Up, Commissioning and On-Going Support(140 hours) <br /> Assist with the start-up of new equipment and systems as requested by the City. Test SCADA, <br /> RTUs, and communications equipment for end-to-end data transmission integrity and accuracy. <br /> Test all HMI screens, data monitor screens, and trend screens, for connectivity, completeness, <br /> and accuracy of information displayed.Test HMI alarm, navigation, and security configurations <br /> and functions.Test trend screen functions. <br /> PLC -Verify the I/O wiring and functionality of all RTUs. Verify PLC program functionality and <br /> communications with SCADA. Verity the integration of the entire system and test end-to-end <br /> data communications integrity and accuracy over telephone lines. Assist the Contractor in the <br /> resolution of problems that may occur during startup. <br /> Provide one year of on-going support of the SCADA system as part of this scope. <br /> 8.2 Substantial Completion (16 hours) <br /> Assist the City in determination of the project"Substantial Completion,"which is defined as that <br /> time at which the project design features have been operational for a continuous period of 7 <br /> days, but during which there are additional tasks that must be completed by the Contractor to <br /> ensure compliance with the Contract Documents. <br /> 8.3 Final Inspection and Completion (16 hours) <br /> In conjunction with City staff, perform the final inspection. Provide written certification of <br /> completion and conformance of the project to the Contract Documents. <br /> 8.4 Prepare Construction Record Drawings (230 hours) <br /> Prepare conformed as-built record drawings based on red-lined shop and contract drawings <br /> maintained by the Contractor for this project.
