I 2.6 Final Testing and Startup Services. Observe the testing and disinfection of hydraulic reservoir structure. 2.7 Final Review and Inspection. Perform a final review and inspection of the construction work and prepare a final list of items to be corrected (i.e. "Punch List"). After substantial completion of the project, verify completion of the punch list. 2.8 Formal Acceptance, Review and Recommendation. Make recommendations to the City concerning operational acceptance, substantial completion, and final acceptance of the work. Include review of the requests for extension of time by the Contractor. Include recommendation for assessment of liquidated damages, if applicable. 2.9 Engineering Support. Assist the City as requested during project construction. Respond to design clarifications or questions during construction as requested by City. Services under this task are limited to 21 hours unless supplemented by authorization under Phase III. PHASE II—DELIVERABLES: • Project Daily Report • Test Reports • Photographs • Final list of Corrected Items • Formal Acceptance Recommendation PHASE III — UNDEFINED SERVICES As it is difficult to accurately determine the nature of all features required for this project a contingency fund of$20,000 is included as Phase III. The funds included in this task cannot be utilized without prior written approval from the City of Everett. PROJECT SCHEDULE Phase I — Design Engineering will be conducted in general accordance with the proposed schedule as presented in Attachment 2. The City will provide timely response to requests for information and will review submittals in the time allotted in the Scope of Work and on the attached schedule. Phase II — Construction Services will follow the construction schedule developed in Phase I and the construction timeframes described previously. SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY For Phase I,the City will complete the following items: • Provide existing available project information, design and construction records, shop drawings, inspection reports and other information on the existing Reservoir No. 3 facility. • Right of entry to all areas required for explorations, surveying and other design activities. • The City will provide a single set of consolidated review comments for reviews of draft reports submitted by Engineer within four working days of receipt. 0 J City of Everett Exhibit A—Scope of Work Engineering Services for Reservoir No.3 Re-Lining Project Page 5
