I <br /> 2.6 Final Testing and Startup Services. Observe the testing and disinfection of hydraulic reservoir <br /> structure. <br /> 2.7 Final Review and Inspection. Perform a final review and inspection of the construction work and <br /> prepare a final list of items to be corrected (i.e. "Punch List"). After substantial completion of the <br /> project, verify completion of the punch list. <br /> 2.8 Formal Acceptance, Review and Recommendation. Make recommendations to the City <br /> concerning operational acceptance, substantial completion, and final acceptance of the work. <br /> Include review of the requests for extension of time by the Contractor. Include recommendation for <br /> assessment of liquidated damages, if applicable. <br /> 2.9 Engineering Support. Assist the City as requested during project construction. Respond to design <br /> clarifications or questions during construction as requested by City. Services under this task are <br /> limited to 21 hours unless supplemented by authorization under Phase III. <br /> PHASE II—DELIVERABLES: <br /> • Project Daily Report <br /> • Test Reports <br /> • Photographs <br /> • Final list of Corrected Items <br /> • Formal Acceptance Recommendation <br /> PHASE III — UNDEFINED SERVICES <br /> As it is difficult to accurately determine the nature of all features required for this project a contingency <br /> fund of$20,000 is included as Phase III. The funds included in this task cannot be utilized without prior <br /> written approval from the City of Everett. <br /> PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> Phase I — Design Engineering will be conducted in general accordance with the proposed schedule as <br /> presented in Attachment 2. The City will provide timely response to requests for information and will <br /> review submittals in the time allotted in the Scope of Work and on the attached schedule. Phase II — <br /> Construction Services will follow the construction schedule developed in Phase I and the construction <br /> timeframes described previously. <br /> SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY <br /> For Phase I,the City will complete the following items: <br /> • Provide existing available project information, design and construction records, shop drawings, <br /> inspection reports and other information on the existing Reservoir No. 3 facility. <br /> • Right of entry to all areas required for explorations, surveying and other design activities. <br /> • The City will provide a single set of consolidated review comments for reviews of draft reports <br /> submitted by Engineer within four working days of receipt. <br /> 0 J <br /> City of Everett Exhibit A—Scope of Work <br /> Engineering Services for Reservoir No.3 Re-Lining Project Page 5 <br />
