8 <br /> may be a defect, deficiency or impairment of any utility system, water <br /> system, water supply system, drainage system, waste system, heating or <br /> gas system, or electrical apparatus or wires serving the courses. Any <br /> emergency expenses incurred by the Contractor to correct any such defect, <br /> deficiency or impairment shall be a Direct Cost. <br /> 10. Safety <br /> a. The Contractor shall immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the <br /> Premises, as well as any unsafe practices occurring thereon, that are <br /> known by the Contractor or should have been known by the Contractor. <br /> b. The Contractor shall obtain emergency medical care as soon as reasonably <br /> possible for any member of the public on or at these Premises who is in <br /> need thereof because of illness or injury. The Contractor shall fully <br /> cooperate with the City in the investigation of any accidental injury or <br /> death occurring at either course. The Contractor shall prepare and submit <br /> to Parks a detailed report regarding any safety issue, concern or <br /> investigation within one (1) business day of its occurrence. <br /> 11. Facilities Use Restriction <br /> a. The Contractor shall obtain from the Director prior written approval of(1) <br /> any events or activities not otherwise specifically provided for or <br /> authorized under this Contract or(2) any extraordinary events or activities <br /> requiring the exclusive use of either course or any portion thereof. <br /> 12. Meetings <br /> a. Representatives of the Contractor and the Director shall meet on a <br /> monthly schedule and at such other times as may be required by the City <br /> to review the Contractor's performance under this Contract, review the <br /> monthly reports submitted by the Contractor and discuss any matters as <br /> determined by Parks. <br /> 13. Fees <br /> a. The fees to be charged for the use of the courses shall be set forth by the <br /> City and as from time to time amended or revised. The fee schedule may <br /> include but not be limited to 1) green fees; 2) golf car rental fees; 3) <br /> equipment rental fees; and 4) restaurant fees. <br /> b. The Contractor shall at all times maintain a complete list or schedule of <br /> prices charged for all goods and services supplied to the public by or at the <br /> courses. Such list or schedule of prices shall be included in each Business <br /> Plan and provided to the Director upon his/her request. Such prices shall <br /> be reflective of the competitive market for similar goods and services and <br /> support Parks "best in value" approach for golf operations.
