The floor then shall be buffed or burnished to provide a high gloss. 2.12 Monthly Clean Baseboards All baseboards shall be cleaned with an appropriate product so as not discolor or scratch. 2.13 As Necessary, Prime Floor Drains All floor drains are to be flushed with water so as to clean out traps and eliminate odors. If necessary, a disinfected odor neutralizer is to be used in conjunction with the water. 3.0 RESTROOM RELATED 3.1 Daily Clean/Sanitize/Disinfect Sinks, Toilets and Urinals All porcelain and stainless steel wash basins, toilets and urinals, as well as shower stalls, are to be cleaned and sanitized with a disinfectant. All fixtures shall be free of odors, stains, rust deposits, soap scum, etc. 3.2 Daily Clean/Polish Chrome and Stainless Steel All plumbing under sinks, surrounding toilets and urinals are to be cleaned and polished so as to produce a shiny appearance. 3.3 Daily Clean/Polish Paper Products Dispensers All paper/consumable product dispensers are to be cleaned and sanitized with a disinfectant. 3.4 Daily Clean Mirrors Mirrors shall be kept clean, fog and streak free. 3.5 Daily Spot Clean Partitions, Doors and Walls Toilet room partitions, partition doors, entry doors, shower doors, and walls shall be free of soap scum, fingerprints, dirt, smudges and graffiti. 3.6 Daily Clean/Sanitize/Disinfect Countertops All countertops are to be cleaned and sanitized with a disinfectant so as to remove finger marks, smudges, and left in a dust and dirt free condition. 3.7 Daily Restock Paper/Soap/Consumable Supplies All dispensers are to be checked and filled whenever the product remaining is 50% or less. In restrooms of high usage, new rolls of tissue will be installed and the 30% or partial roll shall be placed on the dispenser.
