• <br /> Section 2 : Ordinance No. 2143-96 is hereby amended by the <br /> addition of the following section for the purpose of extending <br /> the interim comprehensive plan policies for an additional six (6) <br /> month renewal period: <br /> Notwithstanding any language in this ordinance, this ordinance <br /> shall not lapse and shall be extended for an additional six (6) <br /> month renewal period. During this period a work plan shall be <br /> implemented which shall result in a report that includes staff' s <br /> review of the challenges to the interim comprehensive plan <br /> policies, staff' s monitoring of the litigation of the City' s <br /> adult use regulatory scheme, staff' s evaluation of the .material <br /> and issues raised by the public concerning adult use businesses, <br /> and recommendations for ordinance revisions based upon the above . <br /> Section 3 : If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase <br /> or word of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or <br /> unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such <br /> invalidity or unconstitutionality thereof shall not affect the <br /> validity or constitutionality of any other section, subsection, <br /> sentence, clause, phrase or word of/� is ordinance . <br /> 1 <br /> AnAlra+om.--- <br /> EP 'ARD D.
