• <br /> 33A.010 Purpose. The purpose of the "public park"zone is to provide a zoning <br /> classification for recreational and open space uses and other compatible public uses on current <br /> and future City owned land. <br /> 33A.020 Public Park Zone - Map Amended. Land zoned"public park" shall be designated <br /> on the Zoning Map with the symbol "P": <br /> 33A.030 Permitted Public Park Uses. Permitted public park development-uses include any <br /> public park and recreational activity, including active and passive outdoor recreational activities, <br /> trails, open space, cultural activities, park buildings and structures, concessionaires, general park <br /> operations and maintenance activities,ranger's or caretaker's quarters, other compatible public <br /> uses and structures, and uses customarily incidental thereto, and are permitted in accordance with <br /> the following Review Processes: <br /> A. Review Process I. Public park development land uses approved by the Park Commission <br /> consistent with an adopted park master plan which are below the City's SEPA thresholds for <br /> categorical exemptions or which are exempt from SEPA. <br /> B. Review Process II. <br /> 1. Public park development uses which are not part of or in conformance with an adopted <br /> park master plan, as determined by the Parks Commission. <br /> 2. Public park development land uses which exceed the City's SEPA (State <br /> Environmental Policy Act) Ordinance thresholds for categorical exemptions. <br /> C. Review Process III. Public park development land uses which are located in areas subject to <br /> the shoreline substantial development permit requirements of the City's Shoreline Master Program. <br /> 33A.040 Park Uses - Development Standards. Park development land uses shall comply <br /> with the development standards of Section 37 of this Title,where applicable. Additional <br /> development standards for park uses shall be determined on a case by case basis by the Parks <br /> Department and approved by the Park Commission,through the review processes described <br /> herein. <br /> 33A.050 Park Development- Other Review Processes. Park development on property not <br /> zoned"public park" shall be subject to the review process and development standards of the use <br /> zone in which the property is located. <br /> Section 3. The City's Official Zoning Map, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1671-89, as <br /> amended, is hereby amended by rezoning the following City parks, as depicted on the maps <br /> contained in Exhibit"A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, <br /> to the public park("P") zone: <br /> Lions Park, Johnston-Kelly Park,Judd& Black Park, Kasch Park, Kiwanis Park, <br /> Langus Riverfront Park, Legion Memorial Park and Golf Course, Lowell Park, Rotary <br />
