c <br /> revision of the "Surveying and CAD Standards for the City of Everett". Digital files <br /> shall be two-dimensional with individual line segments connecting points_ Point <br /> blocks with number identifier, elevation and description fields will also be included. <br /> Digital files will be contiguous for each project and at a one-to-one scale in model <br /> space. <br /> 3. Horizontal control (NAD 83/91) and vertical control (NAVD 88) shall be established <br /> from the nearest approved City control monument for the project site. Control <br /> monument selection and survey methodology to be used shall be coordinated with and <br /> approved by the City prior to beginning the control survey_ All survey control work <br /> shall be recorded in a City-supplied field book. Establishment of new control <br /> monuments shall conform to the "Surveying and CAD Standards for the City of <br /> Everett". <br /> 4. Order design locates (surface markings) of all known underground conductible <br /> utilities and coordinate with City water crews to physically locate all water service <br /> connections in the field, and incorporate those locations into the base maps. All other <br /> underground utility lines and services to be approximated based on painted surface <br /> markings and/or existing record as-built drawings obtained. <br /> 5. Show right-of-ways and property boundaries as depicted on Perteet Record of Survey <br /> of the site recorded under AF# 199906215005 on plans. Do not mark or field locate <br /> unless directed by the City. Locate and map all structures within the project site or as <br /> defined by the limits of the survey. <br /> 6. The preliminary survey base map will be submitted electronically to the City for <br /> review conformance with City standards for sheet size, layout, layer conventions, etc. <br /> 7. Set two additional temporary benchmarks at locations that have no likelihood of being <br /> disturbed during construction. <br /> 8. Show spot elevations on hard surfaces on a separate layer. <br /> 9. Show invert elevations, ID dimensions and pipe material (if discernable) of storm <br /> drain pipes, sanitary sewers, catch basins and manholes. <br /> 10. Show topography lines at 1-foot intervals. <br /> 11. Show control points with elevations and point numbers. Identify monuments based <br /> on field book number, page and number, per City Surveying and CAD Standards. <br /> 12.
