SURVEYING AND MAPPING <br /> This task will provide design surveying and mapping (topographic surveys) needed to perform <br /> the preliminary design of the preferred lift station alternative. Perteet, Inc., will provide <br /> surveying services to include the following: <br /> ASSUMPTIONS: <br /> 1. For the purpose of developing this scope of work, the limits of survey are assumed to be <br /> the existing lift station site, and a "mirror image" site on the property to the south and <br /> adjacent right-of-ways, including the interurban trail. <br /> 2. It will not be necessary to enter private residences or buildings to survey basements or <br /> obtain other information. . <br /> 3. The mapping will comply with the National Map Accuracy Standards for 1 inch=20 feet <br /> scale mapping. Digital files shall also be in AutoCAD 2006 with the City of Everett <br /> layering conventions, standard symbols, and attributes as described in the latest revision <br /> of the"Surveying and CAD Standards for the City of Everett". Digital files shall be two- <br /> dimensional with individual line segments connecting points. Point blocks with number <br /> identifier, elevation and description fields will also be included. Digital files will be <br /> contiguous for each project and at a one-to-one scale in model space. <br /> 4. Utility location service prior to the site survey will be requested by MSA and conducted <br /> by City forces and the other utility owners, as necessary. <br /> 5. Control monument selection and survey methodology to be used shall be coordinated <br /> with and approved by the City prior to beginning the control survey. All survey control <br /> work shall be recorded in a City-supplied field book. Establishment of new control <br /> monuments shall conform to the"Surveying and CAD Standards for the City of Everett". <br /> CITY RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> 1. Provide monument location index and blank survey field books. <br /> 2. Provide property reports, plats, right-of-way maps and other legal documents that would <br /> depict property lines,easements and other boundary locations. <br /> 3. Review electronic copy of basemap for compliance with City CAD standards and provide <br /> written comments. <br /> 4. Provide current Title Reports for Lot 31, Silver Lake Acres No. 2 from which to calculate <br /> property boundary. <br /> 5. Obtain right of entry to private property(Lot 31). <br /> 6. Perform confined space entry to manholes or vaults if necessary to obtain survey data or <br /> measurements. <br /> PERTEET RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> 1. Coordinate survey data collection formats to be compatible with the City's GIS database. <br /> 2. Tie all survey work and coordinate systems for the site into the City's mapping <br /> coordinate system(NAD 83/91)using at least two monuments for the project <br /> 3. Horizontal control (NAD 83/91) and vertical control (NAND 88) shall be established <br /> from the nearest approved City control monument for the project site. <br />
