'-a
4. Locate (surface markings) of all known underground conductible utilities and coordinate
with City water crews to physically locate all water service connections in the field, and
incorporate those locations into the base maps. All other underground utility lines and
services to be approximated based on painted surface markings and/or existing record as-
built drawings obtained.
5. Show right-of-ways and property boundaries as depicted on Perteet Record of Survey of
the site recorded under AF # 199906215005 on plans. Do not mark or field locate unless
directed by the City. Locate and map all structures within the project site or as defined
by the limits of the survey.
6. The preliminary survey base map will be submitted electronically to the City for review
conformance with City standards for sheet size, layout, layer conventions, etc.
7. Set two additional temporary benchmarks at locations that have no likelihood of being
disturbed during construction.
8. Show spot elevations on hard surfaces on a separate layer.
9. Show invert elevations, ID dimensions and pipe material (if discernable) of storm drain
pipes, sanitary sewers, catch basins and manholes.
10. Show topography lines at 1-foot intervals.
11. Show control points with elevations and point numbers. Identify monuments based on
field book number, page and number, per City Surveying and CAD Standards.
12. Survey location and elevation at all driveways, sidewalks and other existing
improvements that would need to be considered in design of surface stormwater runoff
and pavement restoration.
13. Survey significant features, such as significant(over 6" DBH) trees, driveways, driveway
aprons, walkways, retaining walls, drainages, fences, etc. Show all visible utilities
including individual service lines (painted utility locate marks), water meters, curb stops,
water and gas valves, manholes, catch basins, power poles, buried power lines, etc.
Provide inverts of pipes for catch basins and storm manholes (lid elevations, all
incoming/outgoing pipes) and swales, ditches, or other conveyances for surface runoff.
Determine center of channel elevation for sanitary sewer manholes.
DELIVERABLES:
1. Base mapping at scale of 1"=5' and topographic contours at 1' intervals per City CAD
and survey standards_
2. Provide copies of field notes, City field book with survey control data, computer listings
and computer readable files of the survey data points organized into a 3-ring binder per
City standards.
3.
