Sullivan
Subject: Everett Lift Station#24 Replacement, Schematic Design
Proposal for Acoustical Consulting Services
Dear Caroline:
Thank you for the opportunity to present this proposal for acoustical consulting services
for the Everett Lift Station#24 Replacement project in unincorporated Snohomish
County. I understand that the project will contain wastewater pumps, ventilation
equipment. and standby power systems. I also understand that this work is for schematic
design services only, and you anticipate completion of this work by February 2008. I am
proposing the following scope of work to address the noise related issues for this project.
Scope of Work
1. Conduct 24-hour ambient noise measurements near the site boundaries to
determine existing conditions. Summarize my findings in a written report.
2. Review preliminary equipment selections and facility layouts and provide general
recommendations for minimizing noise impacts inside the facility and at
neighboring properties. Summarize in a preliminary report.
3. Attend design team meetings on an as-needed basis to keep up to date on the
various system design alternatives. A total of 4 design team meetings are
included with this proposal.
4. Calculate the expected noise levels from all facility equipment(including standby
power generation equipment)at the adjacent property lines assuming the
5 G preliminary equipment selections and facility layout. Compare the predicted
noise levels with existing ambient noise levels and the Snohomish County noise
5266 NW Village Park Drive (425)649-9344(voice)
Issaquah,WA 98027 (425)649-0737(fax)
