This proposed ordinance would mirror state <br /> law to describe and clarify when a violation of a domestic violence, protection or restraining order is a gross <br /> misdemeanor under the Everett Municipal Code. The crime would be punishable in accordance with, and <br /> consistently with, State penalties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance relating to the violation <br /> of Domestic Violence Orders, amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1234.-86, as amended by Section 3 of <br /> Ordinance No. 1807-91, Section 3 of Ordinance 2291-98, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2466-00, and Section 2 <br /> of Ordinance No.2919-06 (EMC 10.22.040). <br /> 75 <br />
