As the sponsor of the Festival the IC-OLPH Booster Club realizes the importance of cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with you, our Cedar Street neighbors. To that end, several initiatives were begun last year to help minimize the effect of the Festival on the residents that share our space on Cedar Street. Those initiatives included conducting a pre-Fest neighborhood meeting, providing a"barrier attendant"at the north end of Cedar Street during the Festival hours and establishing a mechanism for you to contact Festival staff members as needed. All of these changes seemed to have a positive effect for you as residents and we want to ensure you that all of them will be continued for the 2007 Festival. As the Festival gets closer we will be inviting all of you to come the pre-Fest 1 neighborhood meeting and anticipate that meeting will occur sometime the week of September In the interim here are some important dates we thought you would like to have: Carnival Arrival and Set up: Monday October 1st Street Closure: Oct. 5th- 7th 6 AM - 12 AM Friday & Saturday& 6 AM - 8 PM Sunday 31st Annual Everett Sausage Festival: Friday thru Sunday October 5th, 6th and 7th Tear Down & Carnival Departure: Sunday& Monday October 7th and 8th We look forward to working with each of you to make this year's Festival a big success!
