The General Contractor/Construction Management(GC/CM) contract included a Guaranteed Contract Cost of$40,956,477 which was the maximum allowable cost. The amount expended by the contractor is $34,641,652.40 which includes $1,594,919.54 retainage. The contractor under ran the Guaranteed Contract Cost by $6,314,824.60. By Council approving this action, the Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion Phase A project will be accepted as complete and the retainage in the amount of$1,594,919.54 will be released to the contractor. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Water Pollution Control Facility Phase A project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with Hoffman Construction Company of Washington releasing the retainage in the amount of$1,594,919.40. 15
