6 <br /> City Responsibilities: <br /> 1. The City will take the lead in tasks associated with printing bid documents, <br /> document distribution, bid advertisement, addenda distribution,planholder <br /> administration, bid evaluation, bid tabulation etc. <br /> 2. The City will take the lead in receiving and answering bidders' questions. <br /> 3. The City will provide 2 sets of reference documents to URS for use during the <br /> bidding period. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. Draft addenda and responses to bidder questions, as needed. <br /> Task 8 —Construction Support <br /> This task represents minimal involvement by URS during the construction of the <br /> project. URS's support will be limited to incidental support and periodic <br /> collaboration with the City, the construction contractor, permitting agencies and <br /> others, all at the direction of the City. <br /> URS Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Meetings: Attend a pre-construction conference between City and construction <br /> contractor and invited agencies and utilities. Assume meeting will last 4 hours <br /> including travel time and will be attended by the project manager and two <br /> engineers. URS will be available to answer questions. URS will attend up to four <br /> additional project meetings as needed to answer questions. Assume these four <br /> additional meetings will average 2 hours including travel time and will be <br /> attended by the project manager and two engineers. <br /> 2. Submittals: Review construction submittals, as directed by the City, for <br /> conformance with project documents. <br /> 3. Clarifications and Changes: URS will assist with issuing clarifications to the <br /> construction contractor and producing design changes if necessary. <br /> 4. As-built drawings: Prepare record drawings by AutoCAD to indicate changes <br /> made during construction, based on notes and sketches of the construction <br /> contractor and inspector.
